Summer 2012

A nice wet winter & early spring this year. Our stock ponds refilled and lush grass (and weeds) are growing again. Just hope the rains keep coming.

Still busy with the Bastrop 1832 Farmers Market, selling my goat’s milk soaps, soy wax candles and natural skin balms along with my fresh eggs and herb plants.

In addition to being a full time vendor at the market, I am the secretary/treasurer of the market and in charge of publicity. Sure keeps me busy! Now doing Facebook and Pinterest for the market and myself.


	A bounty of fresh vegetables now available at market--twice a week: 2-6 on Tuesday and Saturday 10-2

The Market continues to surprise me in the quantity and quality of the fresh vegetables offered every time I go to market. How do these farmers do it? Continue in the face of such hard times and bring such good food to market. Come check it out for yourself. You will be amazed and even grateful for all their hard work. The Bastrop 1832 Farmers market is located at 1302 Chestnut St. Bastrop, TX. Market hours are Tuesday from 2-6pm (perfect for after school and on the way from work) and Saturday from 10am-2pm October-May and 9am-1pm June through September.
